Each of us has heard and read the stories about the toxic side effects of pharmaceutical drugs. Over 100,000 people die each year from prescription drugs. Learning to make your own safe, effective, medicines from the plants that surround us each day can be a boon to your health.
Many of the plants that surround us have amazing medicinal benefits. Approximately 70% of western phamaceuticals were originally synthesized from these very plants.
Since antiquity, willow bark has been used for pain management, fever reduction, and to reduce inflammation. Plants like Willow, Salix spp., contain a compound called salicylic acid. In approximately 400 BCE, Hippocrates wrote of the benefits of salicylic tea for treating pain and fever. There are countless plants with effective medicinal properties.

I can tell you from experience, when illness strikes, there is no better feeling than being able to provide for yourself and your family safe, effective, herbal remedies.
My Plant Based Medicines classes will teach you how to make safe, effective, herbal remedies with which you can help maintain your own good health, and that of those you love. This is a hands-on class.
In this class you will make an infused oil, a tincture, and an ointment. We will harvest our plants from nature, and use them to make our medicines. When you leave, you will take home with you effecive herbal medicines of your own making.
The class fee is $100.00. That fee includes all of the necessary materials to make your 3 medicines.
This class will start at 10:00 and run until approximately 16:00-17:00. I would suggest bringing a lunch, and something to drink.

Refund Policy:
If you are unable to attend a class, you will receive credit toward any future session of that class. You may also use that credit as cash toward the course fees for any other class we offer. If for some reason, we are forced to cancel a class you are scheduled to attend, you have the option of a full refund or credit toward any future session of that class.
